ACRS begins certification of structural bolts to the recently released standard, AS/NZS 1252 and of reinforcing couplers under the Technical Approvals class of ACRS product certificate. Both of these critical products will be assessed and approved under ACRS’s established rigorous product scheme as well as following and being compatible with internationally accepted practices. This exciting extension to ACRS services, flagged since 2015 and developed with industry, delivers the same level of confidence for specifiers and customers of these products as it does for all other ACRS certified materials, whilst providing appropriate commercial flexibility for product suppliers.
