ACRS is currently benchmarking its scheme and operations against latest best practice at several leading European equivalents. By longstanding policy, ACRS conducts benchmarking against international peer certifiers every 2-years both as an integral part of ACRS quality control, and to maintain ACRS position as Australasia’s leading international, independent steel certifier. ACRS is reviewing not just its current certification practices, but is actively preparing for planned additions and expansions to ACRS’s steel certification scheme. Feedback already received from our EU equivalent certifiers is that ACRS is now recognised as having the most experience of assessment and verification of East Asian Factory Production Control (FPC) and independent comparative testing of local Asian grades against AS/NZS (and relatedly Euronorms) standards of any certification body.
