ACRS was formed by industry and government associations on behalf the construction industry in 2000 to ensure that the manufacture and supply of construction steels to the industry could be independently and expertly demonstrated to meet the requirements of the relevant AS/NZ Standards.
ACRS member companies support and endorse ACRS certification though their organisations and practice.
